RECOMMEND FAST:Car adhesive removal
 
can anybody tell me what i can use to removed the stain of the adhesive used to glue and advert to the body of my car. The branding is all over my car, after i had removed the sticker all the body of the car................the stain of the adhesive is still there. please what can i use to wash it off?

Here's what I did recently and it worked like a charm:

1) Use a hair dryer to heat up the decals a bit. This will allow you to peel them off easier.
2) Use an old cotton t-shirt and some Goo Gone Sticker Lifter. You will have to use a little pressure to get the goo moving. DO NOT try to get it all off this way. Just some big bits of goo. Soak it with the stuff and rub.
3) Now, take another shirt and apply a liberal amount of 70% rubbing alcohol to the remaining goo and the shirt. You should be able to wipe the stuff of really easily. Just keep applying alcohol and wiping with a little pressure.

When done, rinse with water and dry throughly. You don't want to leave any solvent on the finish.

wd40 or other similar spray lubricant

3m adhesive remover with plastic scraper, available at paint/body shop supply stores.
