Recalls???

Ok, I am a soon to be buyer of THE RX-8 WOOT. and I would like
a list of every recall that mazda has done for this car. Also do you think that the dealership would do all the recalls before I buy the car if I ask? EX: can you also change the oil pan and the airbags and the transmission problem. Thanks for all your hope soon to be owner!

All the recalls will be done on any car before you buy it- that's the law. The oilpan shouldn't be an issue for you, as it was only on a few cars at first.

what if i had purchased the car and they denied any recall issues, but soon after the service dept started calling me to have the recalls fixed. can i call them on the issue and report it to mazda north america corporate? it seems they didnt want to tell me about the recalls for fear that i may back out and reconsider, but sure enough after i purchased the car, they started calling me to remind me. and i know the recall issues were discovered well in advance of my purchase date.

hmm.....

When a recall is announced, dealerships must first repair the vehicles on their lot. They are not allowed to sell them until the work is complete. If you purchased a car after a recall was announced, but without the work done, then call Mazda North America.

There might not be a safety issue to the driver, but my recall letter on the dynamic damper said the worst case was damage to a car behind you.
