Rear View Mirror Keeps falling off!
 

a week ago, my rear view mirror fell off while i was in class. it was a really hot day in so cal, i think it was 114. that night i crapped off the rest of the glue on the windshield and the metal shoe and clean it with alcohol. then i applied the "windshield adhesive" i got from autozone.

then today while at at the LA Fair, it fell off again!:mad: whats even worse is that the metal shoe is glued to the rest of the mirror assembly and i cant get it off cause the excess glue seeped in the crease.

is there anything i can do?:Wconfused

i have tried searching online but i keep on getting mixed reviews on what to do.

go to any glass compnay to get the dbl sidied tape, have them install it

haha, well anyways i just took the advice of a friend to use JB weld. considering your not gluing straight to the glass, it seems like it would work cause theres a thin black layer before the glass.
