Re-flashing

HEY YOU ALL,

CAN ANY ONE HELP ME WITH FIGURING OUT WHAT I GOT RE-FLASHED WITH. THE BILL SAYS PCMF0010XFXXB. MY CAR IS AN MAY 03' PURCHASE. I ASSUME THAT THIS MAY BE AN "F" FLASH AND IS THERE SUCH A THING? ALSO WILL THE BRAKE TEST WORK ON THIS.

Don't recognise the P/N but it should be "M" if they can read. Try the brake test.

are those Xs actually on your bill or are they representing some other digits? and did you mean to type May 03 purchase? that just isnt possible for a Canadian car.

The number is the labor operation code..not the flash level.

Check'd the bill on the Flash code and those x's may be a labour code so I figure its an M Flash. I have noticed a definate change in low rpm grunt from before and seems to have better mileage, though I am still a half tank since the flash. This forum for RX-8's is a great tool for Q & A's. Thanks for the help!

Ps: The brake test works.
