Radio removal, I need help!!
1 Attachment(s)
I bought xcarlink because my 8 has a FANTASTIC stock radio that doesn't read MP3 files even though it is 2007 year!
I pulled out the radio after I removed 10mm bolt under steering wheel. I thought I made it. But the difficuleeeesssstttttttt one was left. Climate control plugs need to be removed to pull out the radio completely. There are 2 plugs back of climate control; one is on the left side, the other one is on the middle. I spent a hour to remove the left one, but the middle one never comes out. And it is almost 12AM. It is driving me crazy!! Anyone have done this? Any tips? |
I have an 07 also, and have removed my radio countless times.....
All I can say is keep trying.... its a pain in the ass!!!!! The release tab is on the bottom, you have push on the tab to get it loose. |
Have you looked through this DIY video, I thought it is very helpful. if you haven't seen it check it out.

Remember getting it out putting in my factory Sirius. It's a tough bastard, in there really snug, but keep trying it will eventually move. Search my factory Sirius install thread. It will show you how to get it out
