the color thing behind the rims on tires or whatever that people always have blue or red or whatever color. is that the brake pads or what exactly is it?
i no its a stupid question but just seem a lil confused with some contradicing info iv been told.

outa more curiousity how much do they cost? i was lookin around and are they really like hundred of dollars?
and is it possible to jsut paint them yourself?

is that a serious question, or just being sarchastic? if serious, yes you can paint it. Duplicolor caliper paint available at any auto parts store does the trick, as well a few others. It involves taking the wheel off, so make sure you can handle jacking the car up safely, removing the wheel, and not damaging anything.
