I'm greatly considering getting an RX-8 I know how much fun they are to drive but I couldn't find a thread that addressed everything I had questions about. I'm considering getting an A/T since they seem to be cheaper in my area, with that in mind:
Are A/T's any less reliable than the M/T? I've noticed a lot of people have replaced engines and they're not even over 80K miles. Is this something to expect will hapen to an 8? Hmmm I went brain dead lol. Well I'll ask them when I remember and see what opinions are given here. Sorry if i missed a thread stating these things. Input is appreciated! |
idk about the reliability difference but the at is def not as much fun as an mt trust me i have an at and if i didnt get my camaro i woulda traded for an mt its bad ... but as far as engines dying its hard to tell i have almost 90k on mine and its still running smooth but some dont last that long ....

Depends how well you maintain the engines. If you don't do proper maintenance, it'll die. If you do proper maintenance, it'll run happily.
