Quick Help/Advice Please

Hi. I was wondering if there are any other "recalls" other than the flashes and the non-cold AC thingy. My dealer hasn't informed me of anything and I personally have no idea. Mine was built on Jan 04 if it helps any.

One more thing. Im planning on installing, or having installed, the MS flywheel along with changing the tranny and diff fluids to synthetic, and installing the MS springs/shocks. I have two questions:
1) Would changing out the fluids give Mazda a reason to void the warranty?
2) What other mods come to mind that give a bang for the buck (both handling and performance)?

I appreciate all the help you more knowledgable 8 owners have to offer

There have been 2 recalls so far. Much to your amazement however, neither of the two items you mentioned are recalls.

Here is a link to a site which you shall forever treasure:

Rosenthal Mazda RX-8 Service Bulletins

The two recalls (in boldface, there in the list on that webpage) are:

2004 RX-8 with Manual Transmission Dynamic Damper Recall 1704B
2004 RX-8 Front Passenger Side Air Bag Recall 1604B-a & 1604-b

I'll leave you with that to chew on for now... bon apetite!
