Question with a purchasing an RX8

I've been looking for awhile to find myself the RX8 that i want but I'm having trouble on whether or not I'm making a smart decision. at the moment I'm talking with two dealerships which one has an 04 Nordic green grand touring model and the other has a black 05 grand touring model which happens to be cheaper and the one i like more. but I'm unsure with the O5 model mainly because the previous owner added a mazport turbo kit and a mazsport exhaust and upgraded ECU. Now I've definitely fallen in love with the black rx8 (the one with the turbo) but hesistant on whether that is a smart buy as it is cheaper but its being sold as is with no warranty and nervous on whether im going to have a lot of problems with the turbo that was added to it. I was hoping some of you guys could give me some good advice on whether it would be a bad choice to go with the 05 turbo rx8 or just the 04 stock model which is still covered under mazda warranty. Oh and the 05 model has only 17,000 miles on it as the 04 has 29,000 but if anyone could give me some advice on which to go for or advice on what i need to get checked out on each car as both dealerships are allowing me to take them to a mechanic to get looked as so any advice would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Jordan

I'd be nervous about the turbo'd one. It's a big purchase though, so keep looking until you find the right one. Taking the extra time to get that perfect 8 will be worth it!

Welcome to the forum. Please add your location to your profile.
There are lots of RX8s for sale out there and some for sale on this site. Keep looking for a good deal on a clean car. Don't buy a highly modified (turbo'd) car unless you know a lot about the install and are confident that you can deal with things.
