Question about my new motor
 

I got my RX-8 back last Thursday witha new motor, clutch, etc - all under warranty. I know it takes time for the engine to break in and really develop power but my car is SSSSSSLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWW - it has no power between 500-4K RPM - and I mean NO power. It is extremely sluggish as if it is straving for fuel. Also, it seems to take longer to start than my old motor. Is this all related to the break in time - only have 500 miles on the motor so far - or is this indicative of just another bad motor or motor issue?

I am suppose to take it back to the dealer Monday but wanted to get some thoughts from others before I head over there.
