Question AT question

hey i personally have a MT but my gf drives a AT 04' 8 and i actually posted here a while back for her asking about the tranny fluid that the dlr said is life long. now she asked me to drive her car after i had spent about 5 hours zaino'ing it and her tranny feels like its shifting pretty hard and sometimes it will stay in gear until higher rpm before shifting even if not floored. now she brought this up to the dlr and they said well they do that in 1st and 3rd gear, nothing to worry about. now with me driving it, i notice it alot. has anyone else heard this or experience this, im not that familiar with AT. thanks in advance guys.

Brandon

I have an AT with 36K miles, not too happy with the harshness of the tranny neither. I will go ahead and drain it and fill it with Mobil 1 ATF. I think it's good to change it every 20K or so anyway.
