Thank you for posting that. I found out my car is not only a Friday car but the last day of the month car. I sure hope they're not like my work and issue checks on the last day...I always want to get out of there when I have money in my pocket She's been running great and almost 13K on her after a summer trip so I don't think they rushed making her too much.

I was hoping that it would give the counts for each color but I'm not suprised it isn't broken out that way.

I did a Autocheck on my VIN before buying and it said my car was a Shinka but, my VIN does not show up on this list. Can someone shed some light?

 

same thing happened here, my carfax and carproof report didn't say anything about mine being a shinka, but apparently it is =) it's even got the piano black middle console and the tan leather and copper red XD

 

Just got an e-mail back from Mazdausa.com, they tell me that Autocheck was mistaken and my RX-8 is a GT not Shinka Needless to say I will not be using them again.

There's a pattern to the production VINs. Each month starts the pattern over. You can narrow it down when you figure out the pattern.

Guys,

I am unable to locate my car's VIN in the list. Supposedly it is a Shinka.

-It is copper red with mica wheels.
-It has beige leather/suede seats with copper red shinka stitching.
-Leather with copper red stictching on Hand Brake lever and gearknob.
-Beige leather with copper red stitching on center console lids.
-Bose 9 speaker system.

Could this be a GT with copper red colour?

This is a canadian car.
