AZ Problems with newly purchased rx8

I appoligize for all of the typos and what not beforehand considering I'm rush typeing, beucase I have to go to work soon. I recently purchased a black 2005 rx8 from larry miller vw in avondale,az two saturdays ago. While driving the car home, the CEL came on. I called the dealership and notified them of the problem and dropped the car off first thing monday morning considering it was to late saturday and service is closed on sunday. They transfered the car over to Larry Miller Mazda and it stayed at the dealership until wednesday. While driving it back home again wednesday the CEL light came right back on. I again called the dealership and dropped it right back off. It is still there as I type this. Mazda called me today to tell me that they dont know whats wrong with it and someone from hq has to fly in to look at the car. I told larry miller vw that I dont want the car because its clearly defective and they told me they cant cancel the contract because its already established with a bank. So I told them that I'm going to drop the lemon law on them and they tried to tell me that lemon laws dont exist for used cars. this is pure bs.

Your dealer is retarded:

Used Car

Your car is covered by the Arizona Used Car Lemon Law if a major component of your car breaks before the earlier of 15 days or 500 miles after you buy the car.

If it breaks, you’ll still have to pay up to $25 for the first two repairs.

The recovery for the consumer is the purchase amount paid for the car
from: http://www.azag.gov/consumer/cars.html

now it's up to them to find the "major component". If it's just a bad cat then you'd need to do some more research, I don't think anyone would call a catalytic converter a "major component". Them saying "someone has to fly in" is an interesting stall tactic.

It took me months to get Mazda to send their engineers out the three times they came. I was a special case with them too.
I would ask the dealer what the OBDII code is and we can tell you what is wrong.
If you need any help then just PM me We have a lot of Mazda guru's here in Phoenix.

there ya go.. the Mazda Posse will roll in and smite that dealer for you. Just have the manager lean over Easy's manifold right before he redlines... then have the new manager give you your money back.
