pressing the brake causes radio static?
 

So this morning I left for work and pulled up to the first stop light. I noticed the radio station was FULL of static to the point I could barely even understand what was being said. I figured I was just in a bad reception area and it would eventually go away. But when the light turned green and I took my foot off the brake the static immediately went away.

It did the same thing at the next light.

When I eventually got to work after driving for about 30 minutes I could not re-produce the static problem.

I recently installed new led brake bulbs from VLEDs but this is the first time the static has happened.

Has this happened to anyone else? Seems strange to me that it happened for the first few minutes of my drive today and then stopped.

LEDs will cause your radio static. I first noticed this when I rewired the interior with all leds. Anytime I use the map light the radio gets a bit of static.
