pressing the brake causes radio static?
So this morning I left for work and pulled up to the first stop light. I noticed the radio station was FULL of static to the point I could barely even understand what was being said. I figured I was just in a bad reception area and it would eventually go away. But when the light turned green and I took my foot off the brake the static immediately went away.
It did the same thing at the next light. When I eventually got to work after driving for about 30 minutes I could not re-produce the static problem. I recently installed new led brake bulbs from VLEDs but this is the first time the static has happened. http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/B...22807-1-2.html Has this happened to anyone else? Seems strange to me that it happened for the first few minutes of my drive today and then stopped. |
LEDs will cause your radio static. I first noticed this when I rewired the interior with all leds. Anytime I use the map light the radio gets a bit of static.
