Potential with MOds for future

Hey guys, finally decided too sell my beloved Lexus GS400 for a RX8 manual. I know the car is fast, but just wanted too get an idea of what is iin the pipeline as far as mods go and how long before we can expect some mods. Also, i really don't know too much about the potential of the rotary and would like some input. Thanks!

<- No experet at all but..

I wouldnt expect more than 20bhp extra without some sort of forced induction, stock air intake/exauhst/cat are prety decent already.

With FI i'd expect 300+bhp easy - although cooling etc may be a problem.

There will be some break work, but a more suspension lowering + stifening , as people think its to high and to soft.

EDIT :- Missed out the ECU, I think you'll get some decent improvements reporgramming the ecu but at costs to MPG, idle speed etc and probably emmisions.

I'm no expert either but from what I've heard Rotaries benefit a lot from less restrictive exhaust systems and changes in the A/F ratio and ignition timing. RE-Amemiya got a 12hp gain from their cat-back exhaust alone so I can expect 18-25hp gains from a complete exhaust system (header, high flow cat, low restriction cat back) and maybe another 10hp from ECU tweaks (leaner A/F ratios, different ignition timing). A 35hp gain from the mentioned mods at best can bring the renesis close to 280hp without the need to open the engine or forced induction. :D :D

Any Rotary expert care to comment?
