OP: are u sure your car wasnt maybe in a front end collision. Or maybe the previous owner just replaced it. One of the 2.

 

Yep...looks like the previous owner bought the car without the appearance package and added the pieces after the fact. By the way to the OP, the rear side skirts, rear mud flaps, and front lip are all that is included in the appearance package. Many folks however then also add the front mud flaps to balance the kit...costs about $90 for them and take about a half hour to install. In your case, someone started the project, but didn't finish it.

That is weird. But I spoke to a guy that has an 8 and he is planning on getting the side skirts and not the front lip. So,...maybe that is what happened there. Personally, if I was just going to do one, I would get the lip. Mine has the appearance pkg, but it was on there when I bought it.
