nobody has mentioned this yet but if you paint your car pink your girlfriend's going to want to drive it! she's gonna drive it to the club with her girls. they're probably going to drink in the car while in the parking lot and spill cognac or vodka on your upholstery. then after the club, they're going to a drive-thru, making your car smell like fast food. they're probably going to eat in your car so you find ketchup stains and stale fries in the crevices a couple of days later. this will all happen when you paint your car pink! just think about it dude.

but i'll have to post up my verdict soon, but i'm leaning more and more towards the Yellow with white pearls. it'll be a very BRIGHT yellow, but a glint of silver/white at an angle.

Almost everytime I see a hot car with a neon or other "out there" color, i think ... what a waste.
Given just yellow or pink , I voted for yellow.

I LOVE PINK!! but i would think so much less of you for being a guy with a pink car...purple is worse. maybe you should just buy the gf a car and have it painted pink and make yours a lil more MANLY!!!

honestly i would immediately assume it was some super hot asian chick driving it (2 Fast 2 Furious) and if i pulled up and saw a guy i would be really disappointed.

No, I am not gay, i have a girlfriend, we're planning on getting Married soon
and for being manly, i think being a kick boxer and in taekwondo would put an end to being a man, and i am confident in my sexuality..
if being bold and different will gain more points at the up coming hot import nights here. i think i'll try it out lol I have 3 months to put everything together and the paint job is the last thing on the list to really finalize everything.
dont get me wrong, the yellow would look classy and clean, but in the judges eye it might not be enough to catch their eye. i'm pretty sure they've seen all the yellows, reds, silver, black rx8's. and some obnoxiously crazy color scheme with tons of decals and stickers, but if it's the first solid color that they have never seen, it just might get their attention. I for one have not seen a lot of 8's in certain colors that i've been thinking. i.e Orange Sherbert, Candy Apple.. etc... oh well we'll see what I can come up with lol

I did mention the DUb and Autavations show here, where the judges were not so 'sterotypical'... just saying..
and yes I have been to Chicago's HIN @ the McCormick center MAAAAANY times.. just saying.

Ok that was a bit immature.. just saying..
But i think i'll go with Yellow with a metallic silver/white Camo, my painter mentioned that he can make it so at certain angles it'll appear flat yellow, and some angles it'll look like polished silver/white 8. just hope the curse of the silver doesnt follow me too!

If you're going for outrageous, go pink.
I'm not outrageous myself, so I picked yellow. I don't even wear pink, much less drive it. Yellow can be gorgeous... but if you're looking for something different, have you considered Kawasaki Green? Or maybe an orange?
