Is this phantom Blue?
Sheesh this color sure does live up to its name.. can't find this anywhere! But its awfully nice... Im considering this particular one.. It has the lighter tan color leather and its a grand touring 2007 model with 13K miles on it..

Phantom is a nice color, but nothing compared to the blue it replaced.

Phantom Blue is far superior to Winning Blue. No question. No debate. This can be objectively proven. De gustibus et coloribus non disputandum est!

then there are personal taste and opinion. for example: if a **** color pearl ferrari was given to me, i'd send it out to a high end paint shop before i'm caught dead driving it.
but for me, i do agree that blue was a good color. i hated blue... but have owned and loved a previous car that was a midnight blue pearl. having painted the bumper a few times, i learned the paint more and come to appreciate the pearls a lil more.

i'm guessing the phantom is a pearl color. though it may not stand out like a metallic color, the material are more fancy.
that may be the only reason why one color is "superior".

My only disappointment with WB is that looks like the blues you get on other makes of car, though i do love that the rx8 comes in 4 different shades of blue.
at any given autox, my PB stands out.
I have some pics of mine next to a WB, ill upload later. but PB's look depends on lighting conditions.

Urs looks amazingly clean though. Mine was water spotty from spending the night outside in melbourne, and the previous week since the last autox dirty. but still... for comparison, here:
