PCV and the 2006
 

Ok i know this topic has been mentioned before but the question is if i have a 2006 gt with the new system pcv compared to 2004-2005 do i still need a catch can cause look at the picture where marked red i am getting oil sweat around that area the car is brand new only 4000km on it and i am confused as to is this the same problem do i need a catch can i have no oil in the airfilter as of yet but as to the sweat is it just a gasket around that area that needs to be replaced...???or is it normal

Thats my picture from a post more or less explaining how it works on the 06. It shows in that post the oil line is far down the intake. If you have oil that high up its from sloppy filling or something else, a bad oil cap or something.

Is not normal buddy, u shouldnt have any oil around the area that you circled

Tell your dealership to replace it if possible. there might be a leak/crack somewhere.
