Part Needed: Sunglass holder
 

Hi guys,

I have an 04 RX8 on which the sunglass holder cubby/lid is broken. The plastic part when i press down will not come down and i have to manually pry it open during which the whole thing comes apart sometimes. I know this is just a minor problem in the grand scheme of things, but the dealership does not sell just that plastic part, but instead wants me to buy the whole control unit with lights and everything for $175. That's a bit too steep when all I want to do is replace the cubby hole....

Does anyone know where I can get spare parts online for something this specific. The dealership was unable to give me an item number for this specific part, but the whole module as a whole has this Part # GK2A-69-97-0H77.

lol I got one for sale $40, in perfect condition with bulbs :).

You might get lucky and find one at your local auto junk yard for way way way less than the dealer is asking for, good luck.
