When the fuel warning light comes on I fill up at the next convenient opportunity (usually within 10 to 20 miles more) and the car pretty consistently takes on 13.2 to 13.5 gallons. I haven't really run it down to E yet. I'd like to get a better idea about how much safety factor I have after the warning light goes on. Time will tell.

Don't work for Geico. Still getting ripped off for insurance.
I have managed to get 14.9 gallons once before. I tend to fill up at the yellow light and get between 13.5 and 15.2 gallons per fillup. No trouble starting even though I was on an uphill slope. |
