Ordering Door's for rx8 ?

Someone backed into my car yesterday. first time my R3 has been hit :(
Ive never been happy with any paint work that ive seen done to cars to go in to fix dents / scratches or Color changing a door to match a car.

I was thinking of trying to find a Aurora Blue Rear passenger door to replace mine that got hit. and avoid going to body shop.

Am I being to picky? or should i just let a body shop take care of it...

If anyone else has done this.. What are some good websites to look at for Parts? I found this...
Used Auto Parts - Car Parts - Truck Parts - Body Parts - Engines - Wheels - Bumpers - Lights but ive been on hold for 20 mins so far :squint:

Advice?

I mean, a true body-shop with their own paint shop better be able to mix factory paint for the door - or any paint so long as you know the paint code for it. If they don't then run.

Are you looking to get a new door and worried about that being painted wrong, or having the dent popped out (if it could) and thinking they would only touch-up the dented area?

I think as long as you get the door, having it re-painted is the best option, as dents can be huge and costly to repair if they are big.

They could do a bondo on it, and could be much cheaper than buying a new door...

You wouldn't believe what types of damages people are repairing here. Most of the cars I see, look like their last destination is scrapyard, but after the repairs you can't even tell if it was crashed at some point.

What I want to say is that any good shop can repair the door and match the color without a problem. The only question is how much are they gonna charge, and can you find a reliable paint shop in your area :)
