Opinions Before Purchase

So, after doing a lot of research and reading the brake FAQ like, 20 times, I want some opinions on my future purchase. This is very important to me because the brakes on my last vehicle failed, causing a serious accident, and I'm kind of skittish about getting the right ones. Here are a few facts before I put up the items.

I am on a budget, ( < $750 ) but I do need new rotors and pads. The OEM ones are very worn. I guess because of misuse by the previous owner. She has 44k miles, is a daily driver. My driving style is simi-agressive. (If I'm not going slightly faster than everyone else I'm not satisfied).

Here's what I'm strongly considering:

Brembo OEM Rotors
Hawk HPS Brake Pads
Edelbrock Stainless Brake Line Kit
(Comes up to about $665)

Let me know what you think!

That's what I've heard from a lot of people on here. I'll probably wait till tomorrow to make the final decision, pending more comments. :D:

I have had Hawks HPS on two different vehicles, I thought they were complete garbage. Car doesn't stop much better than stock. The worst part about them is that they don't like to grab when it is raining out. THere were many times where I have to drag the brakes before I can get any sort of braking from them. If you really want good quality pads, I recommend Cobalt Friction or Carbotech. They will be more money, that's for sure. I don't know if they sell them still, but the Axxis Ultimates worked great for me a few years back on a Miata
