I think you'll find that more RX7 owners know more about the RX8 than RX8 owners know about their own cars. Did that make any sence?

 

When I see another 8...first thing that pops in my head is "AWKWARD" lol

 

They all are around the SouthPark area. I live over here and see them all the time.

And unless your the LY that lives on park road, then theres another one in charlotte.

 

I agree with you on not waving lol. I don't have an 8 yet and plan to purchase one, but one time I was driving down the street and I saw this white rx8. I'm not going to say where this happened just in case the owner posts on this forum, but I told him "nice car dude". (I'm a guy just so everyone knows). This guy decides to wink at me and then say "lets go get a drink and i'll tell you all about it. I was so scared outta my mind I hit the gas as hard as I could and drove away. Almost crashed into a tree down the block.

 

There are a lot of 8s around here. I see at least one a day I think. I saw a 5 different ones within 10 minutes once around the academy, austin bluffs area.

 

I see 8's like mad here in the VA area now. Not when I first bought mine but now a year later I see all kinds. But I also see quite a bit of super cars here to soo 8's have clearly become a status symbol car. I wave at 7's and 8's always seem to get a wave back. sometimes we are going to fast to react

 

idk about that. most 7 owners iv talked to seem believe the renesis can't use premix or have FI. don't know where they get that from but iv heard it more than once from different 7 owners.

the rx8 population in my area has almost doubled but theres still a lack of interest.
