Old Love - The RX8 - Many [?]

Well its my first post in this forum. My name is Alex I'm from Israel.

[If this messege is in the wrong forum, sorry ahead, please move it to it's place]

For many years I loved the idea of having an 1.3 L engien that makes more then 280 hp. Here in Isreal this power is pritty much.

I began reading abour this engien and it looks very potenshial. I looked for an RX8 here but the only man that have it is Mazda's menneger son. And the price of bringing it here by another way is very expensuve.

I wanted to ask what is the price of this kind of engien in europe, and where I can order it.

Other point I thought is to buy a rotoric engien that not 1.3L but anout 1.6 - 2.0.
I know mazda used one 2L for her consept and it was about 700hp.And againg I ask which firms make those engiens and what its price.

Link would be greate.

Tnx ahead

If you can find an old Cosmo, they had the 20B 3 rotor engine. If you are talking about doing a 20B swap into an RX8, that can get pretty expensive. Hopefully someone from Europe can answer your other question.

I'm talking about putting a rottor engine to a regular car.
Not about inserting a bigger engine to the RX8. As I sad here in Israel we have only 1 RX8 and the owner is mazda's mannager in Israel son.:(
The car wont be for every day, but only for spesial events.

You would have a difficult time finding a mechanic. Don't think it's worth it IMO.

With enough time and money you can technically do anything. I guarantee it would cost less to just have an RX8 shipped to Israel then to do what you are asking. I'd love to see a rotary in something significantly lighter though, like a Lotus Elise or Exige.

Well I didnt thought about a lotus but defenently about a light car.
As I know rottor engien i much lighter then regular one.
I planned about 700Kg the car and the rest depends on the engien.

Are there any books about fixing rottor engiens?
There is no chance to find a mechnic here, I think I can hendel it with littel help.
