I was wondering whats so different between a rx8 05 and a rx8 07.

Not much difference. For the MT, it's mostly choices in color and what comes in various trim packages. For the AT, there have been upgrades to the engine (now it's the same as the MT) and transmission. There have been some recalls and TSBs, which a responsible owner would have had done to their '04. If you buy a used '04, make sure that the the original owner brought it in for those - as well as maintained it properly.

When you learn to use the search function look for posts at the beginning of each model year that list the detailed specs.

2005s have the 1st year fixes applied to them, so really, there isn't any functional or reliability difference between the two.

 

Unless you're looking for an AT, nothing.

 

About 2 years difference. j/p. I'm not sure there is any real differences. I know the leather/material has went from a weird "ribbed" to a smooth leather. Also, I think, 6 disc players are standard for 2007.
