I just lost a tire to a nail that damaged the sidewall and could not be repaired. My investment in the spare tire kit paid off. Tried to get a Bridgestone replacement from everybody in the world including the dealer and you can't get one. I was planning in getting rid of the Bridgestones when they needed to be replaced, but since I had to replace one tire I wanted to try and match the existing tires. The best anybody could do was a week to receive a tire from the mfgr and I would need to supply my vin number to do it. So, not only is the original tire a "pos", but you can't get one even if you want.
