In one of these "My oil receipts are missing" threads someone suggested that we should maintain a library of scanned receipts as an aid to folks who were trying to recover gaps in their collection of originals.

BTW - with modern thermally printed receipts, you need to scan or Xerox them, or you'll have nothing when they fade. The cashier at Advance Auto even warned me about that a couple of weeks ago when I bought a six year battery.

i thought about doing the whole doctor recpeipts thing since i dont have the records from the previous owner of my 8 just in case something happens.. but.. lets hope it doesnt come to that point where i'll need to do that.

I have no records, Ive worked for dealerships the entirety of my ownership and 60-70% of my oil changes had no RO's and were free since I just did it myself and used the oil gun....

2 of the dealerships I actually did use are presently out of business.

I am so paranoid about what would happen if I needed a motor.

well, my regional rep says it shouldnt have been denied, but the service rep denied me an engine. So im working at getting all the confusion straightened out. The are understanding at the fact that it just rolled over 100k miles. This is quiet the headache.
