Nice flooding warning label to put in your car

I'm dropping off the 8 at a new detailer tomorrow and I'm kinda anxious to make sure they don't flood it. An uncle once flooded my 8 and I ended up 250$ poorer...

I looked at a few warning labels other members made and it gave me the idea of making a VERY, VERY CLEAR and formal one. I'm tapping this to my steering wheel before handing over the keys.

Behold my mad photoshop skillz!

Thats really good. I hope you dont mind if I use it too. I would like to make this into a decal, what would be the best way of doing that?

Mendossa 04-22-2008 10:16 PM

I don't think it would transfer to a decal well. Anyways, you probably don't want that permanently in your car, just print it and stick it on the dash or steering wheel when you take it to the shop.

add, ( 3000 RPM before shut-down). works just as well.

and then turn it off.. fix the spelling XD

You should stick some rotary info around it somewhere.. it doesn't look that special/unique without explaining the unique situation with the rotary.

I saw another one of these in another thread somewhere.. I'll try to find it.

Can someone photoshop this so that it will be the size as the seatbelt warning on the sun visor? I'm planning on printing it out on a glossy sticker and sticking it there.

This is pretty nifty. Do you still have the .PSD with the layers in tact so I can have a little fun? If not, I can just take this and change one thing. I Planned on taking the Mazda Symbol off, and replacing it with a Rotor... :3

Of course, you're name will be on there somewhere.

This is great! I'm printing one myself, although its sad that we need to have this in our cars when dropping our cars off a MAZDA dealer. :icon_no2:

after I had hotter plus, stronger starter and battery installed,,,,,,,,,,,,,I have never flooded in two years.
Always give the 8 a little rev before shutdown.
Common sense works the best.

No problem I'll post it when I get the chance... maybe later today. You don't have to put my name anywhere :)

Good for you.

I have the stronger starter and a new battery and someone was still able to flood it.

Nice work. Too bad it won't work with Canada. It needs a French version or risk a recall.....
