How are you guys doing . I have been reading this forum now for a few months to see and learn what I can on the RX8 , and it has been very helpful , Thanks. I drive a 05 Mazda 3 and Im looking to trade it for the RX8. I have driven the RX a couple of times on a test drive , In the last 2 weeks. Now help me out here is it normal to hear a click noise everytime I shift in to a gear?. Ive driven an 05 and 06 and in both I heard that noise. If there's any thing else I should know could you let me know. Thank you.

There are some great deals on '8s around.

You are probably more aware of the gear shift noises because you are used to a front driver, where the gearbox is a couple of feet away, worked by cables. The box on the RX-8 is right below your hand and the lever will transmit some sound into the cabin. You will come to love the snick-snick sound of a good gear change! :)

Thanks Stealth , most of the cars I've driven are front wheel. I "m going to check another dealer this weekend and hope to find what im looking for.
