Hi guys, I'm new to the forum,

Planning on buying a RX-8 very very soon, just wanted to know what information the onboard computers gives. eg, current mpg, average mpg, temperature etc...

Ummm, there's a outside temp. indicator in the LCD display.
Oh yeah, and a dual trip odometer in the gauge pod.

There's no onboard computer, unless you count the PCM, which while it has its hand in everything, has no display.

 

The central display displays the time, the radio staion or CD track number, and the outdoor ambient temp.

The odometer shows (as luck would have it), distance traveled in either miles or kilometers.

And that's all the computing power you need IMHO.

 

If it gave current MPG you would cry yourself to sleep at nights.

onboard comp is vey basic
