New Leather Shift Boot & Others Installed...??'s on Console Door Covers

4 Attachment(s)
I ordered a bunch of leather accessories for the interior...I wanted a little color among all of the black on black. So I ordered a new shift boot, e-brake handle cover, door handle covers, and front & rear console door covers, all with royal blue stitching that matched my WB perfectly. I'm also going to have some blue inserts done to my seats & door panels.

The console door covers I have a question about installing...I'm guessing just use trim adhesive to install them? Any input?

Anyway, here are a couple of photos of the shift boot - the difference in appearance and quality from cheap vinyl to quality leather is night and day. The leather accents really make the interior of the 8 much more attractive. This was also a great opportunity to take apart & clean the crevice around the circumference of the shifter trim itself.

On a not-so-lighter note, about 10 miles after resealing my oil pan, the leak is back :wallbash:

I got them from a seller on ebay, (not affiliated), I can PM you you his info. He's over in England and his prices are very good - the shift boot was around $12, same for the e-brake cover, the console door covers were $25 for both, but the door handle covers were a little more. He will do any color stitching that you want, and also does colored leather. I took a gamble with the royal blue stitching, but to my surprise it matches WB perfectly. The photos actually make it appear lighter in color than it is. The leather itself is of good quality as well.

I already have a full on leather E-brake handle.
I bought the entire E-brake assembly with leather when I bought the leather console lid and leather shifter boot.
That blue looks pretty good on the shift boot, it would match my blue LED theme.
Wish I could help you on the doors, but just simply can't. Maybe contact him and see what he recommends. Sounds like it would be easy to mess up.

Thanks anyway though....I was thinking the same thing about them being easy to mess up...updates to come.

If you wouldn't mind, could you PM me his info as well, my shift boot actually just tore yesterday, and I was wondering where I could get a new one.
