New to the forum but already learned
 
A little bit from the stickies. Ive had a 94 jetta which I put much money into and now I am moving to the mazda family. Just wanted to say hello and I look forward to learning more and contributing! Heres the car I will be getting.

Welcome and good luck. I'm sure you've already read this somewhere, but make sure they do a compression test and give you the numbers before you buy it. As long as they're good, you're going to have a great time with it.

yes, compression test, do not buy it w/o one!!

and that is high for an '04 with that many miles...fyi

I got it for 10,900. I love it. Amazing sound with the engine, awesome handling. Still have to get used to the clutch but all in all i love it.

the posted MPG makes me laugh, Congrats tho. Definitely try talk them down in price. I got mine 05 GT 6sp for that same price and 50k miles.
