New 8 owner and need help.
I got a 2005 about a week ago, my first one. It is an absolutly beautiful vehicle, but I'm having a few issues that concern me. First off I bought it used (only 11k miles on it) and it still have the warranty until 2012 or 86k miles.
My concerns: Everytime I brake I get a loud squeel. I took it back up to the dealer when this started and they said it was because they were new pads. I have driven it for a week and the sound has not gone away. In the past 2 days I've notice a grinding sound only when I'm in gear and moving. Today on the way to work the grinding sound became more noticable. When I started her up this morning, she sounded fine while the clutch was still in. When I let the clutch out she started running very rough and whining a little. Any help or guidance/advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't know what's normal in the 8's as this is my first, but the problems I described cannot be normal (i hope). |

I thank you all for the help and advice. I'm very excited. I'm taking her up to get the new ECU flash on Monday. The grinding sound is a back plate touching the the back of the rotor. The dealership will fix that as part of warranty.
