too bad the game is very fictional. fun, but strictly fictional. btw, i had started a thread about Carbon, but I don't feel like digging it up.

At that, I took it back, and payed off my reservation for Forza 2

Thats why EA games never sells.

Ever wonder why GT always gets over million copies ?
Forza is another one.

Oh, EA games sell like crazy, if they didn't they wouldn't be such a gaming industry juggernaut. When I first worked at EB, I thought the same thing - then we had a Madden release. It was downright depressing to see all the people getting all hyped up and dropping big bucks on a game that simply updated the rosters and added one feature. That could be done with a $5 Marketplace download, not a "new" $60 game.

See, it's really not that they don't sell, it's they just suck all the heart and soul out of once thriving franchises by pumping out slightly revised editions every 6 months or so. That SHOULD make them never sell, but people aren't quite so sharp.

Need for Speed hung on for a good long time, but I can see it's starting to make a turn for the shitter, just like Madden did so many years ago.

I've enjoyed all the NFS games, but I'm not buying Carbon. I played the demo and it was a huge step below Most Wanted in almost every category.

my daughter's were playing that game a few months ago, I've tried it few times and I liked it. I've played most wanted while i was in afghanistan to keep me preoccupied during my down time and I liked that game too. their just a video games, their main function is to entertain you and their target are mainly teens (or middle aged folks) who aspires to hook up cars and get get street creds. now most might think that this will influence the kids to do some street racing, and that's where parenting begins. kids can get infuenced my 20 million things outside your home but non of those can/will affect them if you've raised them right.
...sorry I got sidetracked, now back to the game. btw, we (me and my 2 daughters) got as far as the last boss (Audi) on the canyon run but I can't beat the bastard even with the murcielago or the McLaren =( so we decided to play bully instead =D

I dunno then, EA have some good studios like Maxis(I like Sims, I mean SimCity kind, not The Sims)

You're right, they release a *new game* every 6 months or so. With little to no change (maybe graphics changed and player name but thats about it)

They're losing money now, they get what they deserves.

Sports games we (my friends) prefer Sega, at least they have some *new* ideas every so often.
