I think the best upgrade for ANY rx8 would be to get a new car. I mean, I love my rx8, but only because of it's aggressive look, double wishbone suspension, and 4 doors to carry around my kids. Although, the downfall of these cars is it's horrible torque and useless horsepower in high RPMs. I realized that the controversy about the actual wheel horsepower for rx8's are devastating...150(?) hp to the wheel? I can't seem to find a way for the pro's to outweigh the cons....My suggestion is don't waste your money modding "the failure of mazda".

I love the 8 just as much as everyone else here, but I dont see a justification for paying 27k for a car that has no horsepower to match the price. im just tryin to help some ppl out before they make mistakes.

Gawd this thread fails. My opinion. SEARCH!! Then get driving classes. It will make your 8 a whole lot faster.

 

to the original poster.: Sorry about everyone hijacking your thread to deal with some lame *** troll.

as for upgrades, the next thing i would recommend you do is either get the RP short shifter or look at some swaybars or suspension options. flywheel is a good mod but it is a little pricey for the install.

we now return you to your regularly scheduled trolling.
