Need some help in the Joplin, MO area

I'm trying to round up parts for my '09, and living where I do, there aren't any in any yards within 500 miles of me. I found the part I'm looking for in good condition at a yard in Joplin, MO, but they won't ship. Is there anyone on here in that region that would help a fellow RX-8 enthusiast out by grabbing it for me, packaging it up, and shipping it? Naturally, I'll pay all associated costs, etc. Really appreciate the assist!

You could try Kyle in Neosho.

I called and talked to them. Booked up solid, but said the shop assistant might have some time, and to try again tomorrow. So... Best lead I've got so far.

Kyle is a really good guy in neosho. He installed my new engine in my RX8 and replaced all the little thing it needed as well. He should have a couple of parts. He also may have it out on ebay depending on what your looking for. What all part(s) might you need?

The part I need is in a nearby yard. White trunk lid on an S2. Literally the only one I've been able to find in the entire country, and it seems to actually be in good shape. They won't ship. Need someone to scoop it up, and help me get it here undamaged. I'm located in the mountains above Denver.

Oh gotcha. Well I do wish you the best of luck, I would help but I'm located awfully far. But kyle is a really good guy, I don't know who you talked to but I did have them ship an air-dam for me.

New information from Kyle (who does not have the bandwidth to help me out in this instance): The yard that the car is in is one of those that's difficult to work with. Says the car has been there for a few years now, and the owner is kind of a PITA (hence why they won't ship). It seems that anyone willing to help me out may first need to help me ascertain whether the part in question is even worth salvaging in the first place... I'm thinking a video chat there in the yard. From there, Kyle and I agreed that shipping via Greyhound is probably the most likely route to success to shed some light on that side of the equation.

Still looking for anyone in the Joplin area willing to help a fellow enthusiast out!
