Need to know EXACT Steering Wheel Diameter

Can someone please measure RX-8 steering wheel diameter either in INCH or CM(Preferred)?

I try to order a steering wheel lock before I get my car...and I need to know this information to choose correct size lock. Thank you so much.

AFAIK, all RX-8 come with an engine immobilizer, why bother with a steering wheel lock?

mac here in AUSTRALIA its illegal to carry any object that could be construed as a potential weapon , however a steering lock is a genuine item for use in car , however it makes one hell of a weapon if needed.

Imyself used one a few years ago in a road rage when 2 guys came out to try and thump me , when they saw my steering lock they decided to find other ways of entertaining themselves.

Mine is 36.83 Centimeters (14.5 inches) outside diameter. I assume they are all the same, but a disclaimer that I have the "Sport" package only.

Size does matter.....

Just measured my GT/Leather, the wheel is also 14.5"/37cm.

If you need precise measurement, be aware that the cross section of the wheel is particularly big, (nice and grippy!) width is 27mm, and depth is 37mm, way more than cars I am used to.

I've never seen one of these. Do they have goos anti-theft ratings? (grantged, any real professional thief can get around just bout anything), but will it work for the common crook?

btw hooruu, may i recommend "the club", u can literally use it as a club and club people with it. or u can put a baseball bat in ur car with a baseball glove and baseball, if u get stopped just say that ur going to go play some baseball.

The Club and other similar devices are pretty good deterrents.

However do remember the fact that they are merely deterrents.
While it is really hard to break or cut one, it is childs play to cut through most steering wheels with a hacksaw.
Having done that, it is easy to pop off the immobilizer!

Or, if in Australia, a cricket bat..
In Canada the preferred sporting item is a hockey stick and tire chains..
