NEED ADVICE 04 rx8

i have an 04 rx8 4 speed automatic with the recall engine swap that was put in oct of last year(should run good for another 10 years) ;and k&n typhoon intake system. i hate AT and want a MT but the new engine runs smooth has yet to give any sign of trouble.should i abandon the engine and trade for a mt rx8? or transmission swap from AT to MT keeping my brandnew engine?

I can almost assume that the majority here will vouch for the MT. I love mt AT, and am in the same boat as you, but I doubt anyone will trade for my AT.

Engine Recall

Wow i must of been sitting under a rock or something but i didn't know they issued a engine recall. Is it only for the 04 models or what? and do you still need to have the warranty to do it?

Please stop posting/making new threads and read. The information you need is already here, much of it in the swap thread you posted in. But to keep it simple either enjoy it for what it is or sell it. I may be wrong, but from what it looks and seems like you clearly don't know enough about the car or the mechanics behind it to complete the swap.

Get a different car.

If you swap transmissions, you won't be able to keep your "brand new" engine.
