I prefer taking them off.
HiFlite is right though, there are at least two(if not three) snap attachments in each wheel well.
Don't have to take bumper off.
Didn't use mine but for a couple of weeks, sold it long ago, but I will see if I kept the instructions.

Looks are a preference, but I find it useful. One needs to keep the back side clean, however, else it will damage paint. The thing it prevents is getting the nose sand blasted and pitted with gravel fragments kicked up by the ever-present summer road construction around here. It also makes bug cleanup much easier.

Thanks, that would be MUCH appreciated. I am also wondering what clips they are. I don't see any in the box.

Hate to say it, but you might have a hard time finding the snap-rivet screws that go in the wheel wells if your bra came without them. I bought my front mask new, but the screws and u-clamps were so badly machined that they wouldn't back out without completely stripping the threads. I called a couple of local dealers, neither of which sold the mounting hardware, but I finally found some snap rivet screws at Napa intended for truck bed covers that were identical, and I found the u-brackets at Home Depot.
That minor issue aside, it's been a good product I've gotten a lot of use from. They're a good thing to have for road trips and track days. Just keep a good coat of wax underneath when you plan on using it, be sure to wash it after each use, and just try not to leave it on the car for excessive lengths of time. Also be careful about scraping the front end over a sharp curb, especially if you have the bra that fits the optional lower lip, because you can count on breaking the plastic hooks that attach underneath.

ASH8 kindly put these pdf files on the site awhile back for RX8 accessories. Icky was right on about the hardware that came with my front mask. I ordered a second set from mazda and they work wonderfully.
Below is a link to the PDF's.

Thank you for the tips and the link to the PDF's. I am definitely missing the snap-head screws, washers, and U-nuts. Now the hassle of actually finding these hardware. The u-nuts and the washers shouldn't be much trouble, just the screws. According to the seller "all hardware is included"... Apparently not.
If anyone can find me the size of the snap-head screws, that would be greatly appreciated.

The kits I got used slip on nut plates so there is nothing to mess up on the fender skirt

you put it on backwards with the snaps in front and no shoulder straps and spin it around and pull the cups over the ***** and pull the shoulder straps up.

I have a car bra for my RX8 as well. Just something to prevent rock chips and whatnot when I go on long trips out of town or going AutoX somewhere. I actually didn't "test" the screws or anything. Just tore the fender liner out, put the clips in, closed it up, screwed the screws in, then put the bra on. The only thing I can say is, I did let it rain and allowed the car to dry with the bra still on which caused a light haziness in the paint. I hit it with the buffer and it's gone. Still sucks, I can't imagine what other people's cars must look like under their bras they wear all year round.

I can't remember where I got mine, sewing shop or hardware store. I used what's called a 'stud' on the following link, then used my own ss screws inserted through the center hole. The "snap" size seems pretty much a standard everywhere.
