oil level question (newb)

Okay so I know 2 add oil every two fillups and I've already picked which kind I'm gonna use so thats not a prob.

The question is, I'm currently at my first fill-up and my oil level is a litle below the full line (like maybe an 8th or so, maybe not even that much)

Should I wait til my next fill-up? The manual says I'm okay until it gets almost at half but I wouldn't ever let it get that low.

And I top it off until it gets right at that full line correct?

You can wait till the next fill up or even the one after that.

A little below full is just about right. You don't want too much. Don't even worry about it until it gets below half. When you top it off you want it just below the full line, probably about where it is now.

Try to keep the oil level between the top line and top dot.

yeah i usually let mine get down about half way or so (that's nearly a qt I believe) then fill it up unless i'm bored and feel like givin her some oil haha....you are fine where it is....also it is not bad to be A LITTLE overfull but I mean A LITTLE NOT A QT OR 2 OVER.... but i would keep away from it but if you do overfill don't come running on here saying "oh no my motor i put a little too much oil in it" this motor is not that sensitive about it.....
