Is my car a GT?
Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if someone could clarify if my car is a SP or a GT? I have tried looking this up online but it only seems like there was a SP or a Shinka for ’05… or maybe I’m an idiot who knows.

My car was sold to me (12/30/08) as a SP… although it has power/heated leather seats, DSC switch, moon roof, Bose system, etc, etc… if it is a GT where can I find more info about the features?

Or am I an idiot?

So the only difference between the two is pretty much seats and heated mirrors? I got it for $12k 33k miles... I wont complain :D.

yeah, the sport has cloth seats, no sunroof, dsc optional...

touring, have cloth seats, sunroof and dsc

GTs- leather seats, sunroof, dsc, heated side mirrors

Did the '04 GTs have heated side mirrors? Cause mine doesn't (unless I don't know how they work), but it has all the other GT goodies.

I'm wondering if the heated side mirrors didn't start until a later year... unless I'm a tard and do not know how to turn them on.

all GT's had heated side mirrors.

Kitten: sounds like you've got a GT. Have you registered with www.mazdausa.com? you can punch in your VIN there and gets all kinds of info

Ya they do. Mine does. I believe they work along with the defrost button.

if you turn on the rear defroster, it activates the heated side mirrors

yeah ALL gts 04 and up have that feature...just turn you defroster on

GT also has Xenon headlights. Lesser grade might have it too, not sure, but I know I went out of my way to make sure I had proper headlights.

Mine are blinding so I assume they are Xenon?
