 I'm so going to hear it from parents and everyone on facebook that this was not a wise purchase but I have to say I fuckin love this car and always will. My first crush was the RX-7. I had a compression test done before I bought it and I did my homework. The guy was surprised at this due to the fact I am a female....lol he goes good job. :wiggle:
I'll post compression test results later if anyone is interested. All I have to do is get new front tires and I'll be good to go. I have to say the sports shifter is a lot of fun to drive and I got an automatic due to having a 2 yr old. I've also picked out the Recaro ProRide in Misty Grey and I am way to into my car I think.

Here are pics, Enjoy!

Welcome to the club. I like the blue fog lights and the moon roof deflector. Anyway, congrats and enjoy the ride.

Thanks! Yea with all the faults I have read about I still was not detured on buying her. I actually prefer to work on my own car so this will be a nice project for me. I don't plan on doin tons to the engine bc it is an auto but I want to get leather interior at some point when I come up with the cash and right now it only needs 2 new front tires.
As if I didn't get enough attention before this def turns heads.
I plan on skimming the threads more to see if I can improve gas milage and other things. :-)
Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Wingznut 01-23-2012 08:12 AM

Congrats on the beautiful ride!

Oh, and unfriend anyone on FB who gives you crap. ;)

Leather interior isnt really a big deal, gets super hot in the summer and ice cold in the winter, kinda a pain actually. I would look at spending that money on a nice set of after market if you are dead set on switching out your stock cloth seats. That is unless you find someone who will trade leather seats for little to nothing.

Indeed you make a good point. I might end up just skipping the leather seats but it's wishful thinking.
Off to do more searching!

It would be mostly my family that will bitch me out for not buying a more "practical" car. Sorry I'm not a soccer mom and nor will I ever be.

Ex dropped off my son this morning and he was getting ready to put the car seat in the back and he only had opened the passanger door so I went out there and opened the back door and he goes....oh well thats cool. lol
He was also one of the naysayers but I'm thinking he's a little jealous now. HA!

I love the multi-color tint on the fogs, wish I had a set.
Anywho, welcome!
you'll be happy you didn't get the leather seats, they are gawd awful when taking turn aggressively.
My butt slid around when I test drove a couple with leather, so I opted for cloth seats lol
