More about Cruise Control option and PCM

Hello everyone!

I'm a new owner of a yellow '04 High-Power RX-8 way up north, in Finland. Manual, naturally.
I really like the setup, high revs, very well balanced chassis. I don't have the navigation or cruise control and the latter is something that I miss at times.

I read on the forum about the PCM programming which sometimes can allow retro installation of the cruise. I understood that the N3Z series still has the program and N3J doesn't.
Now... My RX-8 was programmed with N3J1-18881-G on 19.10.2004 and then again with N3ZH-18881-B on 16.9.2005. For you americans, I am using day.month.year date, so don't get confused.
So does anybody know if the program is still open on my car? If so, I'll go and just order the necessary buttons.

Thanks for all the responses,
K.

*cough* bump *cough*

So no-one knows? Reading the previous thread on PCM programming, it seemed like there were some people here who were really knowledgeable on the subject.

Sorry I can't help out, but you may have better luck if you post this in one of the tech/modification sections. There are lots of people over there with lots of posts whose names I've never even heard (meaning they almost never post or look elsewhere so they likely wouldn't notice this thread).

Thanks for the tip. I'll repost this there. Or if some mod feels it's better to just move this there, that's fine too.
