For a good price, you'd be spending around $5k. You can find a used one for about $4.5k at the cheapest. You can also get one by sacrificing you firstborn. Good luck.

RX8 store sells one. But you better be ready for a lot of side effects. When you get the Greddy (which is already loud) & put a midipe on there it will get REALLY loud. Not to mention it might trip a CEL light as your O2 sensor will go haywire, and you will have the stinky pipe syndrome as it won't burn off your gas completely, and you will NEVER pass emissions. Personally IMO you are better off going with the RP Supercat.

Don't you need to have tuning before you put a midpipe on?

^the smell isn't as bad with a stock exhaust (i've driven and stood behind his 8) but i still find myself choking on the fumes after a good rev - however with a aftermarket exhaust it does smell - and it's noticable. I suggest a supercat if noise is a problem for you because a midpipe and almost any exhaust will be pretty loud. - seriously, a buddy started his car almost a block down and i could hear him haha-

hey dude. there's a huge difference between louder than stock, like with a new exhaust, and proper loud like with a midpipe (especially catless). different strokes and all, but you might get tired very, very quickly. i put a mazdaspeed exhaust on my car and within three blocks of leaving the shop, i got various looks from 3 different people. i wanted louder for me, but not enough to get other people pissed off. i couldn't imagine something substantially louder. but hey, if it works for you good luck.

Will the RP Supercat increase the sound level at all compared to the stock CAT?

Is there any midpipes that will not cause the cel light to come on? i want a louder exhaust sound and i think by getting a supercat or midpipe it will sound little deeper and then i can shoot some nice flames for the tailgater...or am i just better off getting an exhaust i like the mazdaspeed but can that one shoot some flames too?????

shooting flames dont really matter that much by the exhaust, it matters with your air/fuel ratio. if your car is stock, you are relatively rich, so it will shoot flames, just aftermarket exhausts make it a little easier.

are there any exhaust systems that give you the standard 1-2whp (lol pitiful) and actually decrease the noise? or at least, it stays the same. also, it being a lot lighter would be a plus.

i think the corksport sounds really nice and quiet, it just depends on your midpipe

Ok so here's another thing im considering, Im thinking of going with the HKS single outlet exhaust which would be right around the same price as a resonated midpipe. Just to clarify what Im trying to accomplish here, I want sound and lots of it!!! Im getting a nitrous system soon so the idea of shooting flames is a huge turn on, but not a neccesity. I just dont want to spend alot on a catback for a 1-3 hp gain when I could do other stuff for cheaper thatll give me what I want. Pretty much I want SOUND and the best gain I can get for the least amount of money. So midpipe or HKS single, opinions please??

you may only want sound now, but overtime you WILL get sick of it. and you will get pulled over for it at some time. but if you really want sound, go with the midpipe without the resonator, and then it really doesnt matter what exhaust you put on, its going to be really loud. so if you like the single, go ahead, but the single just doesnt tickle my fancy. the 8 was made for dual

I've seen several RX-8 w/single exhaust and it looks really really stupid..esp. as they kept the stock dual outlet bumper.

It's looks like a cheap out similar to a car interior where there are plugs for things that aren't there (bad enough), and then take the plugs out so now there are holes. Very stylish!
