I have been looking at getting a newer car for sometime and the rx8 seems to be the best bank for my buck. I currently own a 94 300zx none turbo, so I'm use to a rear wheel drive car. I heard that the rx8 is a oil happy car how bad is this? Being a rotary car is it easy to get work on it or do i have to go to mazda only for work? What a good mile range to get it and what a good year to go buy? I don't want to spend more than 20k total.

 

You get about 50 miles to the tank and it's not a friendly car to drive. It goes through 2 qts of oil every 500 miles. Don't buy one.
