Let's put problems all in one thread.
 

Since problems like cracked console knobs, tail lights, squeaky seats and the like have all been identified in this forum, I thought it might be useful if we could start up a thread where anyone could pitch in whatever else to look for when inspecting your new car. This would really help us make a checklist to bring to the dealership before driving it home. Many problems could be avoided by pointing them out to the dealer before actually driving it out of their sight.

If any moderators know of a better place for this thread, please move it to better utilize the layout of this forum. Thanks. :D

Write anyother thread about all the problems and summerize all the solutions:

Squeaky seat is still an issue for me - I use Gardinia plastic washer :p now and not to tight is too hard - not to squash the plastic washer - it seems to work the longest

The only problem I have is that my 8 is in the garage and I'm watching the Olympics. I should be out driving!

There are very few so called problems to simply start another thread, what exactly are you looking for? A checklist? Just download the TSB's from Rosenthal and get solutions by checking that all are fixed.

I'm a newbie here so where can I find the TSB list from Rosenthal? I'm picking my car up tomorrow and would like to be better prepared.

I have a problem with my 8 and its a big one. Every time I wash my 8 it rains?...

1. Isn't that a warranty issue?
2. Fresh wax = HP gains (decrease drap)?
