Launch Control?

Anyone know of a adjustable 2 step launch control for the rx8? i've searched the forums, and googled it, and youtubed it, and i guess no one has one for the 8.

well from what i hear, best 0-60 times are 7k drops, which i do not like.
and i do plan to take the car out to the track when i get it, 20 dollar all day pass isnt bad, safe fun.

oh and reasons for it: usually cheap cool mod and will help me launch :P

good sounding car + launch control = amazing sounding car

but with such a free revving engine and the ability to back fire so easy!
i think 8's would sound amazing with em

Explain to me how this works?

2 step launch control: when the clutch is fully depressed, and it is fully open throttle, something kicks in to not let the revs go past a set mark.

Launch control is only needed on cars that have so much low-end power that they are hard to control on launch even for an experienced driver (drag cars, F1 cars, etc.). The 8 is not such a car.

Just to correct this ancient thread launch control is only necessary for boosted cars in order to generate boost before load and minimized drag. It is practically useless in all naturally aspirated engines.
