Ok, now that we have heard of the least amount of cars when bought, what is the average amount of miles or greatest amount when you purchased your car. Also, when was the build date compared to you buy date? Mine had 53 miles. I just bought it two days ago and the build date was 09/04.

Your right, but I think the 1st batch ( mine ) stayed in port longer to fix that EPA / CAT issue. Also mine is Lighting Yellow which some people find a bit too "colorfull".

 

true on the color issue. i think that's why mine stayed on the lot too. people are afraid of red b/c of the "reds get more tickets" issue.....

Drove it off the lot with 261 miles.

Test drive 0305.

Interestingly enough, spent about a month haggling with the dealer and the odometer hadn't changed from when I took it on a test drive. An '04 Lightning Yellow that wasn't moving (and hadn't moved for several months) and dealer didn't want to budge. Finally got it just below invoice along with the incentive. No friendships made on this one.

 

Mine came with 490 miles. Bought in 03/05, build in 05/04.

 

870- Was A Demo In Minnesota And Then The Dealer Traded For A Mazda 3 In St Louis, So It Was Driven Here. No Problems What So Ever (other Than Water Getting In Tail Lights)

 

Mine had 7 miles on it and it was sitting in the showroom. To tired to go look at the build date.

 

Mine had 800 miles on it when I bought it "new". A carfax showed it had never been registered before, so I guess it was a demo or a sales manager daily driver.

 

02.7 mine sat in the show room also.

 

257 miles--it had been driven down to KC from Omaha. Over 1000 by the time I got it home to Denver.
