KILLER Lowering Springs Deal!!
Was shopping around on here for some lowering springs and decided to check eBay. I happened to stumble upon these Espelir Active GT coil springs for $50 plus shipping (mine was $48.60)! Here's the link. The springs are brand new and I can't seem to find anything wrong with them. I went ahead and ordered a pair. The seller has 98% positive feedback so it seems safe. Let me know what you think!

I reckon the forum rules state that you cannot post links to ebay auctions.

I have a set new in box. I cannot sell it at the crackhead price on ebay, though. I will just keep them for that. If someone is interested PM me.
Here is my compilation of springs, drops and rates. They are in front/rear order.... Mazdaspeed: 280/190 - Drop = .8"/.8" (These rates sound bogus and unconfirmed) Swift: 207/129 - Drop = .8"/.8" Espelier: 212/150 - Drop = 1.1"/1.1" Tein S-Tech: 207/145 - Drop = 1.4"/0.7" Progress: 205/145 - Drop 1.2/.8 H&R: 195/141 (progressive) - Drop = 1.0"/1.0" Racing Beat: 187/136 - Drop = 0.5"/0.5" Eibach: 180/130 (progressive) - Drop = 1.2"/0.8" Tein H-Tech: 179/129 - Drop = 1.0"/0.3" Tanabe GF: 179/146 - Drop = 1.4"/1.2" Tanabe NF: 162/112 - Drop = 1.4"/1.2" - The Tein S-tech and Tanabe drops the front the lowest. - Tanabe drops the front and rear the lowest. - Swift and mazdaspeed heights are identical. - Mazdaspeed has some really high spring rates. Not sure if this is truly correct! - Racing Beat is the lowest drop height - Racing Beat, Mazdaspeed, H&R and Swift are the only ones who do even drop height maintaining factory rake - Espelier has the highest spring rate and nominal drop, it looks great on paper |
